Introduction to Archery Excited about archery? Enjoy the fun of learning a new skill, from stance to follow-through, focusing on form, safety, and proper use of equipment. We will learn to use compound bows, which are adjustable to each individual’s draw length and skill level. Participants will be taught competition style target archery by ATA and NASP certified instructors. All courses will be taught at the new instructional archery range next to Rockwood Nature Center.

Intermediate Archery Participants must have completed Chesterfield County Parks and Recreation’s Introduction to Archery course within the past year in order to be eligible for this program. Meet your certified NASP and ATA instructors at the Rockwood Nature Center to continue developing your skills and become comfortable shooting at longer distances in varying terrain. Our instructors will present additional instruction on form, equipment, and safety in this continuing
series of classes geared toward the developing archer. Meet at the instructional archery range next to the Rockwood Nature Center. Minimum age is 8. $20
